Alexis Schaitkin does a fantastic job of location and character building. Sometimes I struggle with a book that has a third-person POV but this first chapter really drew me in. I appreciated the lofty "college-girl" attitude from Alison (being that I once was a teenage girl) and the sister-bond that Clair and Alison exuded.
Saint X starts off with a bang and we learn some information surrounding Alison's tragic circumstance and the immediate aftermath for the family. Saint X has a beautiful cover, and I would be interested in continuing this book.
