good!

I'm very interested to see where this story goes, though admittedly it's going at a pace I find a bit slow. And while I like the writing, while reading I kept thinking some of it could be cut. Maybe the details are important though.

"The island is a lovely nowhere suspended in gin-clear water."

I love this sentence.
