Honestly, this book wasn't quite my cup of tea. While the author was delightful in describing the island, I couldn't quite picture it or imagine I was there. During the excerpt, I found myself searching for the hook, waiting for something too capture my attention. The cover didn't do much to capture my attention either nor related to the plot at this point. I must say though that the characters are intriguing and I would definitely be interested in seeing where they go.
