Want to know how to pull me into a book hook, line, and sinker? Compare it to two of my all time favorites - Fates and Furies and The Girls. In addition to the central mystery, I'm impressed by the author's writing and real knack for evoking a sense of place. Her initial descriptions of the island are just GORGEOUS. This is going to the top of my "most anticipated in 2020" list.
