This book lulls you into a false sense of security by opening with a description of paradise and describing the vacation we are all craving. However, having read the summary and knowing Alison's body would be found by the week's end, I found myself analyzing everyone at the resort suspiciously. Ms. Schaitkin gives us several suspects and a brief insight into a few different points of view right in the opening portion of this novel. I am excited to meet adult Claire as she takes on the mission of finding out what happened to her sister so many years before.
