Ok, so I like the cover and the summary! I think it was a bad choice for the author to use a 3rd person narrator for this story, it leaves the reader disconnected from the story and does not keep me invested in what is happening. It starts by taking us through the days of the family vacation when on the last day, the older daughter goes missing. The rest of the novel is supposed to follow Claire after the tragic murder of her sister. Now this is when I am hooked, I am ready to find out what happens with Claire and the man she suspects was involved in her sister's murder. The writing style is something to get used to but i am willing to overlook that to find out what Claire learns!
