This isn’t the kind of book I typically read, but I was in the mood for something a bit different. When this showed up on Bookishfirst, I thought I’d give it a chance.

The book pulled me into the story within the first few pages. I liked the way the story was told with descriptions of camera photos, interviews, written statements, text messages, and real-life accounts. This was definitely a different experience for me. The situations the characters found themselves in were very well described, By the two-thirds point, I was really having a difficult time not jumping ahead to the end to see what really happened because quite often, things weren’t what they seemed; there were twists and turns throughout and the characters suffered from memory loss of certain situations. The ending was surprising.

There aren’t any sexual scenes; however, there are bisexual and homosexual characters in the book.
