Suspenseful, creepy and a book that totally makes you want to know more. A group of friends goes to play a game in the woods following the disappearance of their friend Becca a year prior - all of which is tied to the disappearance of another teen in the 1950s! Stylistically, I loved the format of this book - between the chapters, we get text messages, police interviews, transcripts of cell phone recordings and more - and I always love when authors throw this kind of stuff into a book, it really brings it to life for me! Overall, Rules For Vanishing kept me interested, the plot moving and my curiosity satisfied (and I wasn’t too scared)!

Thank you to Viking Teen for a gifted copy. All opinions are my own.
