This one was worse that her first novel.
The plot was all over the place. Nothing really made much sense. It was weird, and not in the enjoyable way. Even the way the book was put together really didn’t work out. Really disappointed with the storyline in this one.
I didn’t care about any of the characters. Well, maybe one, just a little bit, but even that took a long time to develop. They were just flat, or annoying, or really just someone I didn’t care if the author killed off because they were developed so carelessly.
The ending didn’t redeem the book in any way, shape, or form. It was a horribly open ending where absolutely nothing was resolved.
It can suffice to say that I will probably never be reading another book by this author. Her first novel was alright, but this one really set it over the edge for me in a bad way.
