I read the first 60 pages or so of this book and I am...intrigued. The idea of a supernatural road appearing that all the people in the book seem to know about, let alone they all also seem to know that going down this road means almost certain death is a nice twist on some classic ghost stories. 60 pages was not quiet enough to get a full feel of this story but the narrative style of 'documentary style' writing gives me some 'house of leaves' vibes so I am interested to see where it goes from here.
