After reading a short excerpt of this book, I ways so excited to get it and read the whole thing. However, it unfortunately was not what I was expecting. I was expecting a light, quick read with likeable characters and a fun storyline with some twists to make it interesting. I felt like there were simply too many characters in this book and that made it difficult to follow story, especially at the beginning of the book. Even though I enjoyed the storyline, the backstory on each of the characters made the book heavy and I felt like it took away from the story. The relationship between Annie and Emmitt was believable and I found myself laughing at there interactions as they got to know each other.
