This book is described as a breath of fresh air but the sample given really just looks like a predictable rom-com only the female lead is Asian. I was expecting something a little more groundbreaking for how the book was described. I am hoping that maybe later in the book we see something different because right now....there is nothing this book is giving to the genre other than another paint by numbers plot.
