I was sucked in from the first moment and was so sad when the first look ended! The main character is professional, strong, and also you can see glimpses of her vulnerabilities. Her ex-fiance is the worst, and that really comes through without being over the top. I also cannot wait to see more interactions between the heroine and the hero. The author has written very strong characters and the entire should be a fantastic journey, if the first look is any indication!
The cover is meh, for me. I like it better than most "cartoon" covers, which I generally don't like. For me (and this is just my personal opinion), I would have preferred a cover with people, especially given the diverse characters in the book. We need more diversity in romance AND on the covers!
Anyway, I cannot wait for this to get a release date, and hopefully go up for pre-order!
