So, to start, wow, is Ahn's ex-fiance a total jerk or what? I was so angry reading the start of this when she was dealing with him. I want to keep reading this book just to make sure she finally stands up for herself with him!

Beyond that, this was a wonderful introduction to what seems like a wonderful small town, family heavy romance. I am excited to see Emmitt and Annie continue to get to know each other with their living arrangement.

I also really love Emmitt's side of the story so far. What an interesting concept with his daughter and the other father figures in her life!

There seems to be a lot to look forward to in this book and I really can't wait to see how it all plays out!

I do have to say that I am not really feeling the book cover. It is pretty boring and not something that would stand out to me on a shelf at a book store or the library. I would 100% pass this book up with that cover, so I'm glad to have gotten to read the first impression, because I am very intrigued by the story.
