I immediately fell in love with Annie's combination of practicality and romanticism. I like that she and Emmitt have tension right away, and neither is denying it. Although I'm interested to see how their relationship ends up, I'm more interested in seeing how Emmitt handles being a 3rd father. I love books with unconventional families, so I want to see how this one turns out!
