This was such an enjoyable read! It's such a cute story with diversity. I couldn't put it down. The writing style and humor is great. Love the character Zach and his dynamic with other characters. I especially love his friendship with Sandra. He's so well written and relatable. Love that the ring allows him to talk to animals (love enchanted jewelry in stories). I enjoyed the character development and Jewish lore in this book. I never heard of this author before I read this but will definitely read more from him. It's a great middle grade novel for kids. I'm going to recommend this to my younger cousins (who are fans of the Percy Jackson series). Hope this continue as a series. I need to read more of this world. The cover is stunning (love the color scheme and art style).
