This book is definitely targeted at the middle grades, and although it was fun to indulge my inner middle schooler for a few hours, this book was not, on the whole, for me. I usually don't read many books outside of the adult genre, so this one was little outside my wheelhouse.
I though the cover was very attractive to those that it was targeting, and really spoke to the action and adventure of the book.
This book is definitely targeted to a younger audience than me.I read it thinking that I wasn´t going to enjoy it regardless I did, it transported me to younger version of my self when I used to read Percy Jackson or The chronicles of spiderwick wich I really loved because it was like connecting again with my inner child.
I really liked the protagonist being Jewish, and the myths that the book incorporated , that go along with Jewish mythology and stories. You always learn something new. I'm going to give it to my little brother since I think this is something that a boy his age is going to enjoy with all the adventure and action that has also he was really intrigued by the cover wich I feel is really eye catching.
