This was such a good book. I enjoyed everything about it. I also had fun learning about Jewish mythology.
The main character, Zach and his sister are at a flea market and spot a ring they decide to buy for their mother. Unbeknownst to them the ring has ties to the king of demons and sends Zach, his sister and his best friend on a journey to save the world from monsters - both mythological and human. There are bullies and lions and sword fights! Plus while wearing the ring Zach is able to talk to animals!
Fans of Percy Jackson will definitely love this. Its fast paced, humorous and such an adventure. I fell in love with the characters quickly and enjoyed joining them on their journey.
