After reading the preview and other's reviews this sounds like an interesting Middle Grade fantasy. It's about a queer boy and his family as they try to halt the chaotic effects of a mysterious ring, drawing upon Jewish mythology to navigate magic, mayhem and the search for pride in one’s identity. I am not really a middle grade book reader but it does sound interesting.
