This cover is giving me Percy Jackson vibes, and I love it! I appreciate a good middle grade fantasy, and I hope that this one makes my heart happy. I fully expect the kid to abuse his powers and test his limits, and can only assume he's going to tackle real life problems and learn a lot along the way. It's a trilogy too, so I'm excited to see how this story plays out and what it's working toward in the final book!
