For middle-grade reading, this First Impression was magical and fun. I liked how the author seemed to capture well the awkwardness of tweendom. The premise of the story is interesting and I can't wait to read more about the ring. The only critique I had was that the cover art did not seem to match the tone of the story. Light, easy, fun read!
