The cover has a bit too much going on, but the first chapters indicate this is going to be an exciting adventure, with some funny moments. I hope Grandma's dog continues to be part of the story, he sound like he could be great comedic relief. Zachary's voice sounds realistic for a 12 year old, and I look forward to seeing how he deals with the magic ring and its consequences.
