I will start out by saying I do read a fair amount of middle grade fantasy books that I usually enjoy. With that said for some reason Ring of Solomon felt so juvenile to me that I just could not get into it. I am not sure what about it had me just not feeling it. I'm sure it didn't help that it felt like so much was going on. Sadly, this one is just not for me.
