I like the idea about including Jewish mythology. I think that would be very interesting. I like the demon king showing up at the end. It opens up so many possibilities for what will happen next. I think this will appeal to its target audience. It lost me as a reader with the talking animals. That always makes me roll my eyes a little because it is so hard to do without being completely goofy. (Unless you are Scooby-Doo.) So this one is not for me but I do think it will find an audience.
