Aden Polydoros is an incredibly skilled writer— I’ve really enjoyed his recent YA books, Bone Weaver and The City Beautiful. While I don’t read much in the middle grade genre, I found the characters and worldbuilding just as dynamic here as in his other works, but with more accessible prose.
