This might be silly of me, but I do not like the font used in this book and because of that, I had a hard time getting into it. However, I do think this a book that middle grade readers would enjoy. We start off with a magic ring that allows the bearer to talk to animals. The main character, Zachary, seems pretty relatable and the story does move quickly.
