I was given an ARC of Remembreance in exchange for an honest reveiw. I really enjoyed this book. Rita Woods wrote a moving story about three black women that finds themselves in danger and how they became interconnected over 300 years through secrets, magic, salvery and the underground railroad. This book is both a historical and a contemparty novel that will take you to Haitti in 1791 in the time of the revolution, then New Orleans in 1857 pre-civil war then to modern day Ohio. You will laugh and you will cry. Not necessarily in that order. All I can say is READ IT! You will not be sorry. (P.S. I struggled with this reveiw because I didn't wan't to give any of the story away.) I can not wait to see what Rita Woods puts out next.
