This book had so much promise. I initially found it quite difficult to keep track with the different points of view. More than once, I had to go back and re-read a narrative to understand where I was it and whose life I was reading about. So, I guess that was the first fail for me. Even though I found the first 100 pages well-written and engaging, I also found that too much time passed between perspectives that when we returned to a particular character, I had to flip back to see who they were again.

On that note, that is something that I was glad to read was the character development. However, I think 3 different points of view taking place at 3 different places in time made it difficult to enjoy. It got to a point where I felt it was dragging on. And then, we reached Remembrance and all was lost for me. It took the novel to a genre that I don't care for. And the ending was average.
