Very promising start, and eventful first couple of chapters. The pace seems fast moving. There are some occasional terms/sentences not in English but they're easy to figure out from the context and purposefully placed. The story seems heavy yet gracefully handled so far. I do wish the characters were given a more clear introduction but that's not a big problem, as most fiction doesn't do that anyway.
