Remembrance is one of those novels that'll catch your attention with its cover; it's beautiful, and yet has this haunting tone to it. And the pages within live up to that expectation.

I only got to read so much of Remembrance, but I can already tell you some things about the writing. Rita Woods has set up for a unique tale here, with the perspective jumping between three points in time. There's a certain sort of elegance in her writing style, which increases the overall haunting tone of the novel (thus far).
