This is so different than most books this author writes. She knocked it out of the park with this one, proving she can excel at any genre. I loved how this was so intense. Imagine loving someone so much and grieving over them because they have disappeared. Then they show up, only to be pointing a gun at you. This is what Isabel is going through. She knows Tristan so well and would never fear him. Theirs is a love to last forever. Yet Tristan has no memory of his past. Only that he is a cold blooded assasin who feels nothing. He was hired to kill Isabel. She calls his name just before he pulls the trigger causing him to pause. There’s just something about her that intrigues him. He warns her she is in danger, only she doesn’t understand he means from him. Of course, he tells her there is someone who wants her dead. She thinks this is because of her dad being in politics. They are on the run now. Find out if Tristan ever gets his memories back. There are also some dangerous characters along the way that Tristan is friends with and has to turn to. It seems Isabel has danger all around her and it will be impossible to escape with her life.
