Sorry, I was in the middle of a sneeze when I was trying to come up with a title for this first impression. Anywho, there just really wasn't anything substantial going on in this excerpt for me to care. It felt like a writing exercise, honestly. A lot of telling, which is surprising for someone with amnesia. And, yeah, just... being dropped into this rather bland scene doesn't make me want to read more. The blurb was more interesting than the excerpt... and I'd rather just watch the Jason Bourne movies (especially Renner's, mmmm Renner, and Rachel Weisz!). Sooooo... Thanks for the first look!
