I've never heard of this series before now, but I'm intrigued!

This excerpt was such a small taste of what this story is, five pages is nowhere near enough to satiate a good taste. I want more of the story. The characters so far seem so flawed and I love it; it makes them human. I hope I can get a copy so I can continue this intriguing story.
