There were definitely several points while I was reading this book that I wanted to yell at Queenie at the top of my lungs. She was making soooo many reckless decisions. It required many breaks. This will never be a book that I could read in one sitting. There were also times that it felt like the author was having Queenie do something simply for the reason that she was "supposed" to do this or have this character trait, etc. That got slightly annoying from time to time.
However, overall, this book was worth a read. The tagline compares it to Bridget Jones' Diary, and I can see why it received that comparison. There were several things very similar to that story. If you enjoyed that book and/or movie, then I feel confident that you will like this one as well. Definitely worth reading, and the author is one to keep an eye on, as I'm sure other books she writes will be good as well.
