Queenie will make you cry tears of joy and tears of heartbreak. Queenie herself is a very strong and witty Jamaican/British woman in London just having gone through a break up that makes her question who she is and lose herself. This book touches on many aspects of a relationships from self-worth with oneself to the unraveling of a relationship that was thought to believe to stand the test of time and what to do afterwards. There is also plenty of wit that goes into this novel as well. This is a heartbreak novel that every woman should read.
