I'm a BOTM subscriber and this is the book I chose for March. I was super excited about reading this since it had been given so much praise by people.
Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this books' main character, Queenie.
The story is pretty simple...Queenie's boyfriend wants to take a break so through almost the whole book she's not accepting that they have broke up. Nevertheless, she still manages to sleep with most of London. Shes whines alot and continuously makes excuses for not doing the right thing. In the end, we find out she has some sort of issue with her mom (never fully vetted) and she has some coping skills problem.
I can usually finish a book of this size in 2 afternoons, but after just a few chapters, I knew I this book wasnt going to call my name and haunt me to come back and find out whats going on.
