(This review is based only on the first 22 pages of the book).

Queenie seems to be a "real" book. The author definitely wants the reader to flow with Queenie's streamline of thoughts, and that is why the narration goes back and forward with what is happening right now and memories. Initially, it is a bit complicated to understand what is going on, but eventually, you get used to this narration technique. The first 10 pages were a little hard to follow, especially the part about Queenie's aunt. Wish it was a little more clear, even though this new way of storytelling is interesting.

I believe this is definitely material to be a bestseller. All girls have something in common with Queenie and can identify with her.
