I really enjoyed this! Poor Queenie, what a hot mess of bad decisions. She was overdramatic and self-centered, yet I was rooting for her right through to the end.
I loved her growth as a character, and she had quite a bit of growing up to do. But so did her friends and family. She has to overcome poor self-image, anxiety, family issues, she learns about finding out who her real friends are, and about letting go of negative people in her life.
And the style of the book is fresh and charming in a way that's hard to describe. I really enjoyed it. I'd recommend this especially to the twenty-something crowd, the young women who are still finding themselves and finding their way.
And, bonus, it's very entertaining and unexpectedly funny.
