I really enjoyed this book. This is a realistic story about a young woman in England and her trials and tribulations with friends and lovers. I got frustrated with the character sometimes and the choices she made. You kind of just want to knock some sense into her.
I could easily relate to the character and many lines, especially this one
“Is this what growing into an adult woman is—having to predict and accordingly arrange for the avoidance of sexual harassment?”
This book had a lot of relatable parts.
I think many young women will be able to relate to this story and the characters. Definitely worth a read, one of my favorite books of the year. Looking forward to other books from this author!
