This book brings us in to our main character Queenie's life at a very intimate moment. She is at the doctors office for some lady troubles. Queenie comes from a very close knit family from Jamaica. Currently, she is in the process of a separation from her boyfriend Tom. She really needs his support, however, it seems like she has pushed him away too many times int he past and was not very open with him. I want to learn more about Queenie and why she is the way she is. Will her and Tom reconcile? I wan tot know. The cover of the book is definitely eye catching. I like the bright orange coverage and the I feel like the outline of Queenie depicts a strong woman. I feel she is going to be a character you root for and I look forward to reading more.
