I read this one via audiobook, and loved it so much that I went out to my local bookstore and ordered myself a physical copy of the book so that I could go back and read it again. It was laugh out loud funny and was also intensely relatable. Especially during the part where she was looking for a sublet and she had similar experiences to my own when I first moved to Boston. Plus the whole time, I was rooting for Queenie as she looked for love in all the wrong places, found herself struggling with mental health, and trying to stay motivated at her job. While Queenie tried to figure out who the heck she was, I felt very seen, and it was gratifying to read something so close to my own real life experiences.
Plus the cover of the book is an absolute dream.
