The first thing I noticed that I liked was the text pictures, I love that so much, really modern and nicer way to distinguish text messages in a novel. I thought Queenie was an interesting character especially being surrounded by family and family friends who are very old-fashioned. I think the novel took a very different turn very early on which made me read faster.
I don't know how I feel about Tom's relationship with Queenie from the start something felt off so I was quite happy that I was correct about that.
