From the first impression, I still am not sure what kind of book to expect. The first look introduces the reader to Queenie, who is in a relationship that is clearly floundering. Her boyfriend doesn't text her back, doesn't seem concerned about her doctor's appointment, and shows no interest in staying in their house. They are in the midst of a separation, but it seems to be on his end. I am interested in finding out more about Queenie and her relationship as it does appear this book will delve into this further.
