This novel promises to be both entertaining and a fulfilling escape into the life of Queenie. I loved this snippet of the story. Queenie is full of life but doesnt seem to know it, which makes her endearing and heroic. The most fitting comparison seems to be Bridget Jones, but Queenie's comorful and adorably complicated personality jumps off the page at you from the first moment.
