I think I need this book! I love the existential questions posed in a very down to earth way. Everyone, regardless of color, race, etc. etc., can relate to the idea of finding yourself at the end of a string of bad decisions chasing something you desperately want and being forced to ask yourself why. This sounds like a perfect bookclub read.
