Contemporary reads are not usually my cup of tea, so it was surprising that I enjoyed the beginning and actually wanted to keep reading! I think that Queenie is a relatable character. Her miscarriage and not wanting to be pregnant period are too popular topics today that should be discussed more. I hope that this book allows for more conversations about these topics.
