I was immediately hooked by this sample. Queenie is so likeable and the writing is witty -- it makes me want to be friends with her. I like the way memories and text messages are interspersed with the main text. I want to know more about Queenie, her culture, her "stuff," and what's happened between her and Tom. I was also very drawn to the cover design.
