A very realistic glimpse into a day of Queenie's life left me wanting to keep reading and see what happens next. We start in the gynecologist's office with her feet in the stir-ups and a need for multiple consultations between doctors. We hear Queenie's thought and see her relationship with her somewhat trying aunt. We also see some of her relationship with Tom, and that leaves me wanting more details because what Tom shares doesn't jibe with what Queenie has been sharing. All in all, Queenie appears to be a complex, engaging character with a story to tell- and I want to read it!
