I definitely see the Bridget Jones flair to this book! Any book that starts with a woman getting a female exam and throwing out sarcastic comments to the medical staff has my attention. Queenie seems to be a modern, independent, self-deprecating character, and I can't wait to read more of her. I also love the text messages interspersed throughout the text.
