The cover art does a good job of telling the reader that the story is about a woman. Queenie is in an emotional upheaval, as both her health and her relationship are at a crossroads. What will happen to Queenie moving forward, especially when she comes to certain realizations about her life? My first impression of Queenie is that she is a typical 20-something woman who has not yet chosen her future path with regards to her relationship. I am interested in learning more about her and would definitely seek out the book in order to finish it.
